To celebrate the start of the new semester of 2025-2026, our lab came together today for a city walk and lunch, enjoying the sunshine, the Singapore skyline, and the iconic Merlion.

This gathering was also a special occasion to warmly welcome our new members—4 Master’s students (Qianyu, Liwen, Bowen, and Chunjiang) and 3 PhD students (Syndey, Qi, and Qingyuan)—who have just joined the team.

At the same time, we also express the farewell to Wang Huan, who will be returning to China tomorrow to defend her PhD thesis at Tongji University in Shanghai. We are proud of her accomplishments and look forward to welcoming her back soon as a postdoctoral researcher in our lab.

Moments like these remind us that beyond experiments and publications, what truly sustains us is a spirit of community, growth, and shared journeys. With a vibrant team and new beginnings, we are excited for the challenges and discoveries ahead.
