Congrates! Syndey won the LIJEN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT MEDAL (best academic projects in the discipline)

A huge congratulations to our new PhD student Syndey Xin Yu WONG for winning the LIJEN Industrial Development Medal for her outstanding Final Year Project!

The LIJEN Industrial Development Medal, established in 1985 through a generous gift from Lijen Industrial Development Pte Ltd, is awarded to honours year students with the best academic projects in each discipline of the Faculty of Science (and to deserving students from the School of Computing). It is one of the most prestigious awards for graduating students, recognising exceptional academic performance, innovation, and project excellence.

Syndey’s project, completed during her undergraduate studies in our lab, impressed evaluators with its originality, depth, and execution. This achievement is a testament to her hard work, creativity, and scientific talent.
