Our Team Wins Third Place at the NUS Faculty of Science Games 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Singapore, 09 May 2025 —

Flying the flag for the Department of Biological Sciences, team BioStorm battled through two rounds to win a well-earned third place in the Faculty of Science inter-department competition last weekend.

9 departmental teams entered the annual contest. Powered largely by members of the Hu Lab, BioStorm swept the group stage with back-to-back victories, taking top spot and automatic qualification for the final round. A spirited performance in the playoff then sealed the bronze medal for the department.

The team comprised graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and lab staff, demonstrating the breadth of talent and camaraderie across Biological Sciences.

The team extends heartfelt thanks to Jolene and Reena from the DBS administrative office for seamless logistics and to Vazyme Biotech for keeping players refreshed with complimentary drinks.
